cast iron chicken tacos

WHAT YOU NEED:

  • Chicken

  • Olive Oil

  • Smoked Paprika

  • Chili Powder

  • Chili Flakes

  • Cumin

  • Oregano

  • Salt and Pepper

  • Butter

  • Garlic

  • Yellow Onion (sliced)

  • Green + Red Bell Pepper (sliced)

  • Cojita Cheese (shaved)

  • Pickled Onion (topping)

  • Cilantro

  • Lime

  • Avocado

  • Tortillas

How to make it:

  • Cut the chicken breasts in half horizontally to get a thinner slab of meat. Then cut them into thin strips.

  • Mix the chicken with olive oil, smoked paprika, chili powder, cumin, oregano, chopped cilantro, salt and pepper.

  • In cast iron pot, throw in chickens and cook for 8-10 mins.

  • Add in butter, garlic and chili flakes and cook for anotha minuto.

  • Take out chicken and put in bowl to the side.

  • In same pot add sliced onions and let them cook for 5 mins then add bell pepper also for 5 more mins w salt and pepper.

  • Add chicken back in and mix together for a few minutes.

  • Take out and make tacos with any other ingredients you may want
